FC Dallas is undefeated no longer. With a late goal in Saturday’s game, the San Jose Earthquakes became the first team to beat FC Dallas in the 2017 MLS season.

The game was pretty slow for the first half, and even the beginning of the second, with neither team getting many promising shots off.  However, as the clock kept ticking away, both teams began to put on more pressure, hoping to get a coveted goal and win the game.  In the 81st minute that is precisely what San Jose did.  It was Jahmir Hyka who scored for the Quakes, putting them up 1-0.

FC Dallas, fearful of losing their undefeated streak, pushed hard to tie the game up, however they were largely unsuccessful and the final score stayed at 1-0.

This is a big disappointment for FC Dallas who will walk away with only 1 point in their past two home games.  Hoping to get back on track, Dallas will take on Chicago Fire on Thursday at 5:30, while San Jose will face the LA Galaxy on Saturday at 7:00.
