The Boston Breakers won last Sunday 1-0 against Sky Blue FC and are likely to win against Seattle Reign FC this Saturday at 7 P.M. ET on Jordan Field in Allston, Massachusetts.

The Breakers scored in the 37th minute, courtesy of player Natasha Dowie. Goalkeeper Abby Smith made four saves and prevented Sky Blue FC from scoring at all.

Boston Breakers head coach Matt Beard is aware that Seattle will be a tough competitor, but insisted that a game plan will lead them to victory once again.

“Similar to the test against Sky Blue, obviously they’re an organized side, they like to possess the ball, and they give us a different challenge because technically they’ve got some very gifted players,” the coach stated. “We know as long as we stick to the game plan, and as long as we make the right decisions, we can create goal-scoring opportunities, we can force teams into mistakes, and we can win games.”

Boston’s record is now 1-1-0, as they suffered a loss to FC Kansas City on their season-opening game. If the Breakers win this weekend, they will have won two in a row for the first time since August 2016 and two straight home games for the first time since 2015.

The match will be streamed on the go90 app, go90.com, and NWSLsoccer.com.
